Aker Projects installed plasterboard walls and ceilings on a steel frame for new-build apartments in Dilbeek in Belgium. The package included 6,000 m² of plasterboard and 2,500 m² of plasterboard ceilings. The work was completed in three months.
Plasterboard fixed directly to the steel frame
The 6,000 m² of plasterboard was screwed directly to the steel frame. The fit-out therefore connected directly with the structure of this new-build project.
Ceilings and surface finishing
The 2,500 m² of plasterboard ceilings was also fixed directly to the steel frame. A Dutch Klasse B surface finish formed part of the package.
