Scope: Ede: approximately 550 m² PVC flooring, 150 m² plasterboard walls and 550 m² of the existing overhead structure spray-painted black. Amersfoort: approximately 460 m² concrete flooring, 460 m² acoustic plasterboard ceilings and 300 m² plasterboard walls.
Programme: Completed: eight weeks of execution per store
Work carried out: Preparation, coordination, electrical work, plumbing, ventilation, alarm systems, fit-out and finishing.

Aker Projects delivered complete store renovations for Trek Bicycle in Ede and Amersfoort. Both projects included preparation, coordination, technical installations and fit-out. Each store had an eight-week execution period and a fixed opening date.

Amersfoort — 2024

The Amersfoort works included approximately 460 m² of power-floated concrete flooring with a transparent coating. Electrical, plumbing, ventilation and alarm installations formed part of the scope.

The fit-out included approximately 460 m² of acoustic IVI plasterboard ceilings with a double layer of Duragyp, 300 m² of plasterboard walls, Dutch Klasse A finishing and painting. Aker Projects handled preparation and execution coordination.

Ede — 2022

The Ede store received approximately 550 m² of PVC flooring and 150 m² of plasterboard walls with Dutch Klasse A finishing and painting. Aker Projects also delivered the electrical and plumbing installations as well as ventilation and alarm systems.

No new ceiling was installed in Ede. Approximately 550 m² of the existing overhead surface or structure was spray-painted black, creating a different execution package from Amersfoort.

Working towards opening

Preparation and coordination formed part of both projects. The programme was built around the fixed opening dates. Demolition was not required for these renovations.

Aker Projects also carried out maintenance and additional works at Trek locations in Zwolle, Eindhoven and Ermelo. These were separate scopes from the complete renovations in Ede and Amersfoort.
