For the Van Cleef & Arpels boutique in Amsterdam, Aker Projects delivered a complete specialist fit-out package. The scope ranged from frames and doors to wall construction and a distinctive gold-leaf ceiling finish.
Walls with specific requirements
Our work included plasterboard walls and burglary-resistant walls of types WK3 and WK4. Frames and doors were also part of the package.
Plasterboard ceilings with prefabricated coves
Aker Projects installed plasterboard ceilings with prefabricated ceiling coves and carried out the wall and ceiling finishes. The detailing of the coves is an important part of the visible finish.
A gold-leaf ceiling finish
A special element of this project was applying gold leaf to the plasterboard ceiling. It reflects the specialist nature of the boutique fit-out.
