A former church in Maurik was converted into a sound studio. Aker Projects carried out the specialist fit-out with sound-insulating walls and ceilings for the box-in-box construction.
Specialist work for a new use
A sound studio places specific demands on the building fabric. Our role in this project focused on the sound-insulating wall and ceiling constructions within the existing building.
The construction behind the finish
The photographs follow the wall and ceiling build-up from framing and insulation to plasterboard installation. They also show the distinctive interior of the former church. Together they reveal work that is largely hidden once the fit-out is complete.
