Aker Projects joined the Eurostars project in Rotterdam during construction, when most plasterboard walls were already in place. Our scope focused on specialist ceilings, carpentry and wall and ceiling finishing.
1,266 m² of perforated timber ceilings
The ceiling package included 649 m² of black perforated Ideatec timber ceilings and 617 m² of white perforated Oberflex timber ceilings. Together, these accounted for 1,266 m² of timber ceilings.
Aker Projects also carried out suspended ceiling works elsewhere within the package.

Carpentry and finishes
Our carpenters installed frames and doors and worked on bulkheads and completion items. Most wall and ceiling finishing was Dutch Klasse A with Klasse B used on part of the works. Some areas also required additional plasterboard wall works.
A defined role within a larger project
Aker Projects delivered the agreed specialist fit-out packages during the ongoing construction. We coordinated our works with the progress of the project and the other teams.
