Aker Projects carried out the wall and ceiling fit-out and tiled flooring for the Aesop store in Amsterdam’s Nine Streets district. Straight and curved plasterboard walls were combined with a Dutch Klasse A surface finish and spray-applied acoustic finish. The work was completed in one month.
Straight and curved walls
The wall package comprised 125 m² of plasterboard walls including the curved walls within the store interior. The work brought together the wall shapes and their connections with the surrounding surfaces.
Ceilings and tiled flooring
Aker Projects installed 140 m² of plasterboard ceilings and 95 m² of tiled flooring. The project therefore covered the interior from floor to ceiling.
Interior finishes
The package included a Dutch Klasse A surface finish and painting as well as spray-applied acoustic finishing. The gallery below shows the work in progress and the store interior.
