At Bijlmerplein in Amsterdam, Aker Projects worked as a specialist fit-out partner on two box-in-box studios: a large studio for a dance hall and a smaller studio for FunX radio.
Two studios within an existing building
A dance hall and a radio studio have different uses. Aker Projects carried out specialist box-in-box work for these spaces. The project shows our practical experience with building sound-insulating studio constructions.
Floors, walls and ceilings as one construction
The photographs show the successive stages of the studio fit-out. Wall framing and the floor build-up are visible before the surfaces are closed. Ceiling framing and boarding follow. Together they show the construction behind the finished spaces.
