We agree the work Aker Projects will deliver and the specified construction details. Quantities and timing are reviewed against the other contractors’ work so each team understands its responsibilities and the information needed to proceed.
Experience across different packages
At Eurostars Rotterdam, our works included 649 m² of black Ideatec ceilings and 617 m² of white Oberflex ceilings, alongside carpentry and wall and ceiling finishing. Most plasterboard walls were already in place when Aker Projects joined the project.
At Moncler Amsterdam, the emphasis was on plasterboard walls and ceilings, Dutch Klasse A finishing and painting.
Studio construction and box-in-box
A sound studio requires a coordinated approach to the sound-insulating floor, walls and ceiling. Aker Projects delivers the specialist construction package to the agreed details and acoustic requirements.
Our work includes a sound studio inside a former church in Maurik and box-in-box studios for dance and FunX radio in Amsterdam. We also carry out separate sound-insulating wall lining projects.

Acoustic and fire-rated applications

Precision in construction and finishing
For Van Cleef & Arpels Amsterdam, our package included WK3 and WK4 burglary-resistant walls and plasterboard ceilings with prefabricated coves. Applying gold leaf to the plasterboard ceiling was a distinctive part of the assignment.
At Urban Woods Delft, Aker Projects carried out 4,500 m² of Faay walls and 8,500 m² of Class A surface finishing. The photographs show the work at different stages.
